The Meaning of Green

The Irish holiday is always celebrated on March 17th, which is the day that Saint Patrick died. He was a missionary way back in the 4th century. His real name is believed to be Maewyn Succat. He took the name Patrick after he became a priest.

Tangy New Color Trend Announced for 2012

Last week Pantone Inc unveiled the hot new color for 2012, Tangerine (17-1463). The energy infused reddish-orange has already impacted fall fashions and is expected to carry through to the top designer spring lines with added complementary colors such as deep blues, earthy browns or even a dusty plum. For packaging, tangerine can pop as a primary color, signaling your products trendy and fun side, or perhaps its sophisticated and slightly seductive appeal? Or use tangerine as an attention grabber–in place of red–to highlight key messages, features and promotions. Consider incorporating images infused with tangerine and other spicy hues that pull in customers. According to the color experts at Pantone, tangerine is reminiscent of a sunset and a call to action that should add new life into your brand/product packaging in 2012!
